This class aims to teach the beginning steps of working with Buttercream, how to use 2 Large piping tips to achieve a trendy and quirky finished cake.
Students will be given instructions and explanations on how to create their own Blossom Cake using a variety of techniques and skills throughout the course.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Colouring buttercream
- Filling & Stacking cakes
- How to achieve a final smooth cat of buttercream
- Guidance on piping buttercream vertically to the sides of the cake
- How to safely incorporate fresh flowers onto a cake
- Applying ‘extras’ onto the decorated cake without going overboard to give a simplistic final look i.e. sprinkles, glitter
