By booking, enrolling in, or attending any class conducted by Lollipop Cake Supplies (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the Student”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1.1 Bookings are confirmed only upon full payment of the course fee.
1.2 An invoice will be issued at the time of booking.
1.3 Payments via direct deposit must be received within five (5) days.
1.4 Unpaid bookings may be cancelled after seven (7) business days.
2.1 All classes require a minimum number of students to proceed.
2.2 If this number is not met, the class may be cancelled or rescheduled.
2.3 You will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the class.
2.4 You may choose a full refund or transfer to another class.
3.1 We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify a class at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
3.2 If we cancel a class, you will be offered a refund or transfer.
3.3 We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur (e.g. travel or accommodation), to the extent permitted by law.
4.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.
4.2 More than 21 days’ notice: eligible for refund (less fees) or transfer.
4.3 Within 21 days: no refund, except where required by law or with a valid medical certificate.
4.4 No-shows without 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for refunds or transfers.
4.5 Classes with external instructors are non-refundable, unless required by law.
5.1 One transfer is permitted if requested at least 7 days prior to the class.
5.2 Requests within 7 days are at our discretion.
5.3 Illness-related transfers or refunds may be granted with a medical certificate.
6.1 Class sizes are limited to ensure a quality learning experience.
6.2 Parents/guardians are not permitted to stay unless booked as a participant.
6.3 All instructors hold valid Queensland Blue Cards.
6.4 Unwell children must not attend.
6.5 Please contact us prior to booking if your child has additional needs, as we may not be equipped to provide specialised care.
7.1 Students must follow all instructions provided by staff.
7.2 Fully enclosed shoes must be worn.
7.3 Long hair must be tied back.
8.1 All products are prepared in a council-registered kitchen.
8.2 Products may contain allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and artificial ingredients.
8.3 We do not guarantee an allergen-free environment.
8.4 Alternative products may be available with prior notice and an additional fee.
8.5 External food items are not permitted without prior approval.
9.1 All designs, materials, and class content remain our property or that of the original designer.
9.2 You may not reproduce or teach these designs without written permission.
10.1 We may take photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes.
10.2 Please notify us before your class if you do not wish to be photographed.
10.3 Students may take photos for personal use only.
11.1 10% discount may be offered after class.
11.2 Excludes sale items, gift cards, and future classes.
12.1 Do not attend if you are unwell or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
12.2 Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend due to illness.
13.1 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including travel or accommodation costs.
13.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14.1 Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
14.2 You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
14.3 You are also entitled to have services supplied again if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
15.1 You acknowledge that baking classes involve inherent risks, including burns, cuts, slips, and allergen exposure.
15.2 You voluntarily accept these risks.
15.3 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury or loss arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under law.
16.1 By booking or attending a class, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
16.2 If booking for a minor, you confirm you are the parent/guardian and consent to their participation.
16.3 Electronic acceptance (e.g. online booking) is valid and binding.
