Bakels Vegan Cake Mix is perfect for any vegans or people with lactose intolerance. It has a moist, even texture, with a subtle vanilla flavour that works well in many recipes.

Ingredients

1kg Vegan Cake Mix

460ml water

240ml vegetable oil

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and beat on low for 1 minute

  3. Scrape down sides of bowl and mix on medium for 6 minutes, then low again for 1 minute

  4. Pour into prepared pan and bake until skewer comes out clean

  5. Leave to cook in tin and then upturn onto a cooling rack

Hints

Be careful not to overcook, cooking for longer at a lower temperature can help with this.

Cooking times vary for larger tins and cooking times vary with ovens.

Always grease & paper line tins.
