Create fluffy delicious cakes and cupcakes using the Bakels Apitio Utility Cake Mix, perfect for slab cakes, cake bars, cupcakes and just any cake in general. Add a tasty flavour to create your desired taste to enhance your cake creations. Add some buttercream, Cake Cream or favourite icing to the top and you have some incredibly fluffy and tasty cake treats.
1Kg Bakels Apito Utility Mix
4 x 70g eggs
225ml Water
Preheat oven to 160 degrees (standard fan forced oven)
Line baking tin
Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl
Beat on low for 1 minute, scrape down sides of bowl
Beat on medium for 5 minutes
Beat on low speed for 2 minutes.
Pour into lined baking pan and bake until skewer comes out clean (Start checking at 45 minutes for 8" round and 18 mins for cupcakes)
Allow to cool in pan and then upturn onto a cooling rack
Be careful not to overcook, cooking for longer at a lower temperature can help with this.
