Stem & Reed - Stem Seal Food Safe Sealant - 90ml Pot

Stem Seal is a must have when it comes to fresh and dried floral arrangements on cakes. This amazing quick-drying Stem Seal Food Grade Sealant is tasteless and super easy to use to make any non-edible items food safe such as fresh flowers, dried flowers, artificial flowers, toppers, plastic figurines, wires etc. 

This amazing sealant stops the risk of non-food grade items causing toxic chemicals to seep into your cake creations if they are not taped correctly. Stem Seal once dry, most items can be directly inserted into your cake creation. There are some occasions where you may need to use a dowel or similar to form a burrow when working with a dense cake or thicker and longer stem. Simply Melt, dip and decorate with comfort knowing your cakes are food safe.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: 

1. Remove lid & tamper seal. 
2. Microwave for 2 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute before heating for an additional minute.
3. If product is not completely melted, continue to heat in 30 second intervals.

HELPFUL HINTS:

• CAUTION: Contents & jar will be hot. Handle carefully.
• First melt should be conducted following the above instructions.
• All future melts should be heated in 30 second intervals until melted. 

HOW TO SEAL: 

Carefully dip flower stems or other items into Stem Seal and allow to dry. For a thicker coat, we recommend dipping no more than 3 times.

Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and any source of heating and ignition.
