Canon - Refillable Edible Ink Single Cartridges - PGI-650 & CLI-651

Having trouble with an old or broken cartridge? Never fear, the Canon single cartridges are here! You will be back printing your own edible images in on time after replacing your Canon Edible Image Printer Cartridge with a brand new one

These cartridges are recommended to use in Canon IX6860, MG5660, IP7260, MG5460 or MG6460 bubble jet printers. These cartridges may work in other printers that use the same type of cartridge, however they have not been confirmed as working and cartridges cannot be returned if used in untested printers.

If you do test them in other printers and they are successful, please let us know as it would be great to add them to the list.

COLOURS:

Black (Large): PGI-650BK

Black: CLI-651BK (replaces the photo black)

Cyan: CLI-651C

Magenta: CLI-651M

Yellow: CLI-651Y

These cartridges should only be used on a new printer, or a printer that has never used the original print cartridges as the original ink will contaminate the edible ink.

The individual cartridge comes equipped with the required microchip and is refillable. The cartridge can be refilled using the 100ml edible ink bottles.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING CARTRIDGES:

Installation:

1. Remove orange bracket and round orange rubber bung. Ensure you leave the coloured ink hole bung in place. (DO NOT THROW OUT THE ORANGE BRACKET)
2. ALL refillable ink cartridges are required to be put in the printer set together in order to work

Refilling:

1. Put the orange bracket back on the cartridge, take out the coloured ink hole bung and fill the cartridge to approximately 85% full (over filling will cause the cartridge to leak).
2. Stop refilling when it is about 85% full, then put the coloured ink hole rubber bung back in the refill hole.

Note:

These cartridges do not auto reset and will report to the printer that they're always full. You MUST keep an eye on the ink levels and ensure you do not run the printer head dry as irrepairable damage may occur to your printer.

Troubleshooting:

• If the cartridge is not recognised by the printer, take it out turn off the printer and put it back in the printer.
• If there is no ink printing on paper, make sure the air hole is opened and carry out the head cleaning in the printer utility software, do this a few times if necessary until ink comes out properly. Be aware this uses a lot of ink.
