Ingredients
 

1kg Bakels Pettina Chocolate Cake Mix

4 x 70g eggs

400ml Water

 

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees

  2. Line baking tin

  3. Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl

  4. Beat on low for 1 minute, scrape down sides of bowl

  5. Beat on medium for 5 minutes

  6. Then beat on second speed for 3 mins

  7. Pour into a lined baking pan and bake until a wooden skewer comes out clean (start checking at 45 minutes for 8" round cake and 18 mins for cupcakes)

  8. Leave to cool for 10 mins in baking pan and then upturn onto a cooling rack 
Hints

Be careful not to overcook, cooking for longer at a lower temperature can help with this.

Cooking times vary for larger tins and cooking times vary with ovens.

Always grease & paper line tins.
