American Fudge Brownie

Premium Dutch Cocoa is one of a kind, with a bitter taste and chocolate undertones, not only will it keep your brownies from being too sickly sweet, it will also deepen the rich, dark chocolate colour.

Ingredients

200g butter 

2 cups sugar (or 50/50 organic vanilla sugar/castor sugar)

3 eggs

2 teaspoons of Equagold Pure Vanilla Extract

1 cup Equagold premium dutch cocoa 

3/4 cup standard flour

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional) 

1/2 cup white chocolate chips 

 

OPTIONAL:

Add 1 chopped up cherry ripe for extra WOW factor 

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees

  2. Line baking tray or tin with baking paper

  3. Melt butter and sugar over low heat until just melted

  4. Mix in the eggs until well combined

  5. Add remaining ingredients

  6. Pour into your lined tin or tray

  7. Bake for 45 minutes ( they may still be soft in the middle)

  8. Cool in the tin

  9. Serve dusted with icing sugar and a dollop of ice cream, or with rum sauce
