Description

Create your own custom fondant numbers for the tops of your cakes with these easy to use Loyal Mini Number Plunger Cutters. This set comes with numbers 0-9 and can be used to both emboss and cut your fondant numbers! These are also available in Upper Case & Lower Case Letters.

HOW TO USE:

CUTTING: 

  1. Roll out your fondant (or similar) on a firm surface to a thickness of 2-3mm. 
  2. Gently press the cutter down using the white round tab until it cuts through.
  3. Slightly twist the cutter side to side to detach the excess fondant for a clean finish.
  4. Lift the cutter and press the plunger to eject the number.

 

EMBOSSING: 

  1. Lightly press the cutter into the fondant surface without it cutting through.
  2. Remove the cutter carefully, leaving the embossed outline of the number.

 

HINTS & TIPS:

  • Don't let your fondant dry before cutting, always work whilst soft and pliable.
  • If letters are sticking, dust the surface of the fondant with cornflour or icing sugar to help release the letters. This will also help when rolling out the fondant.
  • Allow letters to partially dry before handling, this will help them hold their shape.
  • Add tylose powder to your fondant to speed up drying times (you'll need to work fast)

 

CLEANING:

Wash by hand in warm, soppy water. Use a soft brush to clean any hard to reach places. Do not wash in dishwasher, avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
