Round Polystyrene Cake Dummies are ideal for giving cakes extra height without the extra cake to eat. Our round cake dummies are made of a higher density foam which has minimal pitting and resists chipping. There is usually a ridge down the side where the cutting gets finished during manufacturing. This is easy to smooth with fine sandpaper or a nail file.
Please note that our cake dummies are hand-manufactured and cut, so minor imperfections such as small chips, dents, or surface marks may be present. These cosmetic imperfections are easily concealed when covered with fondant or icing and can also be lightly sanded smooth using fine sandpaper or a nail file if required.
A cake dummy can also be used to sculpt models & figurines for cake decorating. Another great use of polystyrene dummies are to cover with some bling wrap and use as a cake stand.
