The cakes will remain moist & delicious for 28 days! Can be re-frozen for 6 months or until the frozen best before date printed on the product label, whichever date comes first. Customers should protect their cake from temperature fluctuations and freezer odours by wrapping it in several layers of cling wrap and aluminium foil.
Bake Me Up Cakes are shipped in a custom made box completely surrounded by foam to ensure that your cake arrives in the exact condition it left us in.
The 28 day shelf life commences on the date of shipping. When your Bake Me Up cake arrives, it can be re-frozen however upon defrosting, the shelf life is reduced by the time that it was defrosted in the shipping process. Rest assured though, the quality will remain exactly the same.
It is recommended to remove the cake from the foam packaging upon receiving the cake.
Cakes will defrost within 1-3 hours depending on size. However the cakes perform at their very best when they can sit ambient for 1-2 days before using them, especially if torting (slicing into thin layers).
