Spring is blooming with our newest buttercream floral class, creating beautiful spring blooms using a variety of piping tips and styles, finishing off with a dozen flower cupcakes. 

SKILL LEVEL

Intermediate

• Some decorating experience particularly piping buttercream is highly recommended
• Attendance at one of our beginner buttercream classes is highly recommended before enrolling into this class

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?

• Preparing, filling, and holding a piping bag (including the prevention of air-bubbles)
• Colouring buttercream
• A variety of rhythms and piping tips to execute different and attractive designs
• Appropriate speed and pressure required for regular and medium sized piping tips
• Use of Russian Piping Tips
• How to prevent ‘the shakes’ when piping – how to give yourself stability
• Piping a variety of flowers
• The application of glitter and cachous
• How to achieve different colour techniques throughout the petals

• Apron
• Class Booklet with notes section
• A dozen cupcakes 
• Light lunch

• Tea / Coffee, Water supplied
• Please ensure that you wear fully enclosed shoes 
• Long hair is tied back for class
