Wilton Bake-Even Strips are ideal to help bake moist, level cakes every time with no crowns, cracked tops or crusty edges. Simply dampen the strips and wrap around the cake pan before baking. The moisture in the strips keeps the edges of the pan cooler for perfectly level and deliciously moist cakes, every time! No leveling means no wasted cake and icing and decorating are a breeze! 



  1. Fit the dry bake even strip around the pan, and thread the strip through the fabric loop. Strips can be used in combination to fit larger sized pans. See sizing chart on the inside sleeve of the pack.
  2. Remove the bake even strip from the cake pan and run the strip under cold water to wet. For best results, soak the strip in a bowl of ice/cold water for 5 minutes. Remove excess water, but do not wring out.
  3. Place strip on the counter in a circle and put the cake pan inside the circle. Cinch to tighten.
  4. Add batter and bake as directed.



The 2 pack of bake even strips fit cake pans from 8" to 10". The 6 pack comes with differing sizes of strips which fit cake pans from 8" to 16".

Do not place strips in the oven when dry.
